These works explore color, light and texture as a natural extension of my paintings on rigid substrates.
The work focuses upon geometric forms, grids, repetitive motifs and lushly layered color. The harmony and contrast of the colors are important elements in creating the work's visual impact. The square as a repetitive motif is an homage as well as an acknowledgment of the work's historical roots.
